Field Trips
Sooo...I am incredibly tired. I recently returned from my LAST field trip of the yesr with my students. We went to Hershey Park and stayed at the KOA Hershey. Believe it or not we had an amazing time. The students were so out-of-their-element that we barely had any problems or fighting. It is crazy to think that some kids have never been to an amusement park, or made s'mores, or eaten at a Chick-fil-a (true!). The trips are probably one of the only things I will miss about my current job...the kids faces, when they try new things, are priceless. It has been a crazy school year. I have learned many things and take with me MANY memories. I know some of these kiddos have special things to come in their future, I just pray they stay on the right path and make good choices in life. Peace.

Amanda...that makes two of us, tired, but I did come home and finally get a nap. lol. You spoke about the kiddos from school, one came over today. I was surprised at how she was very soft spoken, different from school. I'm glad we had this year to work together, I will really miss you, who can they replace you with??? Who is going to brake out in song with me, crack me up like you do, drive me and the kids around. lol You are such a great friend. We will just have to have girls night. Believe it or not the kiddos will miss you, they try not to show they care. The very best to you with your new job, you will do great things. Love you my friend. XOXO ~ Lori
ReplyDeleteYou put you heart into this year and planted seeds....I hope your seeds keep growing and that these children spout into wonderful adults....and that they remember that Mrs. Shenk believed in them, therefore they choose to believe in themselves. I believe in you and I know you will plant many more seeds on your next journey! Love and hugs!
ReplyDeleteThanks Lori for always having my back. Thanks Phase for always believing in me when I forget to believe in myself.
ReplyDeleteIt is amazing how hard it can be to believe in ones self...I know from experience! You will be great! Love and Hugs!
